Summer ’17 means Euro music festivals; they’ve already gotten under way, but there are opportunities to jump in now for some of the best fun to be had this year! If you’d be satisfied with a nice beach and some mildly scenic eye candy, well then head over to Montenegro’s beaches for a little Adriatic awesomeness anyway. But, baby! There’s so much more!

The world-famous (and enormous) EXIT music festivals are hitting the beach, too, with the Sea Dance landing beachside in Budva in mid-July. What a gas, right? But you jump over to the festival website and get hit with the news that hotels are sold out. Downer? Serious bummer?

There are no less than four EXIT festivals this year (two down and two to go) and every one of them was or will be chock full of hot music that turns their venue into a very full party town. If a good reason is required for a big deal party, this year’s events have a good one; the 50^th anniversary of the 1967 Summer of Love is the central theme. (Perhaps you could consider this an excuse to be a laid back, music-loving hippie for a while!?)

The EXIT festivals for 2017 have already blown the summer doors off, with 50,000 fans hitting Sea Star Festival in Croatia in May and the just-finished Revolution Festival in Romania over the first weekend of June.  Two more remain, with the EXIT Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia July 6-9 and the Sea Dance in Budva from the 13^th-15^th. These last two festivals are close enough by on the map and on the calendar that they’re being advertised as a six-day-long party. (We have to imagine that a serious music-loving party-goer’s calendar would have to allow July 10, 11 and 12 as days to recover from the first bash, saving up the energy to stage-dive into the Sea Dance affair.)

The EXIT Summer of Love festivals will showcase various genre acts from rock, hip-hop and pop to techno, punk, hard-core, reggae, experimental and metal music. Both the Novi Sad and Sea Dance venues will have multiple genre-oriented stages. Novi Sad will feature a main stage plus dance arena, explosive stage and fusion stages as well as a bewildering variety of additional special interest stages, such as “no sleep”, reggae, trance, latino, urban bug, future shock, silent disco, karaoke and more.

Sea Dance will have a main stage plus stages dedicated to dance, reggae, Latino and a party stage. One more stage, the silent dance stage, is a wireless headphones venue where more than one group plays at the same time.

This year, Sea Dance will host a next-level line-up with some of the biggest names in electronic music, with headliners Sean Paul, Fatboy Slim and John Newman. The follow-up acts will push hot fun through the night, with dozens of top-flight acts hitting the stage. (“Through the night” is literally true, with a schedule of act starting times from 1 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning!)

                               While we can still manage to get you in the door to either (or both) of these amazing festivals, hit the phone or your keyboard sooner rather than later and get in touch!
